Adventures of the Mask

    (Dark Horse, 1996)
™ and ©1996 Dark Horse Comics, Inc.

Stanley Ipkiss was…well, let’s face it…a wimp. He let everyone walk all over him: his boss, his landlord, even his so-called friends. Then he discovered a strange green mask which, when he put it on, transformed shy Stanley Ipkiss into a hyperactive and zany figure with a bizarre sense of humor and the physiology of a cartoon figure.

This series owes more to the movie version of the Mask starring Jim Carrey and the related Saturday morning cartoon show than to the original comic book series. Here the focus is on the humorous side of the Mask, rather than the psychotic, ultra-violent side shown in the other The Mask series.
