Psi-Lords

Their race’s proper name is the Starwatchers, but they are more commonly known as the “Psi-Lords,” short for “Psionic Overlords.” They are a breed that is kept alive and given great powers by molecular machines (“molmechs”) in their blood. Indeed, they do not die of old age at all, a fact which sets them apart from the “temps” (humans) around them, in profound ways.

The Starwatchers are capable of using their molecular machines to perform miracles, such as building a great space station out of an asteroid belt, in six hours. They have also offered their services as peacekeepers to the universe, but it’s been over fourteen years since their offers of assistance have been accepted. Somehow, the world just doesn’t seem to trust its new guardian angels. But when the moon Titan discovers an infestation of Spider Aliens, they turn to the Starwatchers for help. Soon the world will discover if the Starwatchers are truly friends or foes.
