Unlike the more psychological Marvel Knights limited series, this four-issue Inhumans limited series by Carlos Pacheco and José Ladronn is a straight-forward super-hero story in which the Kree, the alien race who created the Inhumans millennia ago, attempt to reclaim their creations by force. In an assault led by Ronan the Accuser, the Kree defeat the Royal Family—Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, and Triton—to keep the population of the Attilan, the Great Refuge, in line and proceed to literally steal the Inhumans’ city and take it into space. But what of Black Bolt’s insane brother, Maximus the Mad? Can he save the Inhumans from the threat of the Kree?
