Wildstorm continues the adventures of this popular and colorful group of cat-people who were originally introduced to the public as an animated television show and as a line of toys. All the same old gang of cats are here as well as their old enemy, the evil Mumm-Ra, who takes advantage of ThunderCats leader Lion-O’s absence (while on a pilgrimage of regal training) and takes over the re-built city surrounding Cat’s Lair. But Lion-O learns of Mumm-Ra’s atrocity and returns—not as prince, but as the Lord of the ThunderCats—to save his people and administer a terrible but just vengeance!
