Romantic Marriage

One of dozens of Romance comics to come out in the 50s, 60s and 70s, Romantic Marriage is split into a series of stories about womanly woes and wifely worries. Filled with short stories with titles like “I Married a Clown,” “I Lied for Love” and “Substitute Wife” this title has plenty of sappy stories of women scorned and the men they love. But don’t write off the title - or the genre - too quickly! Remember, both Stan Lee and Jack Kirby got their start writing romance comics and artistic luminaries from Neal Adams to Bernard Krigstein and Alex Toth have graced the covers and interiors of memorable titles like Love Romances and Secret Hearts, among countless others.
