Gen Xer’s are featured prominently in this anthology flip book from Oni Press. “The Secret Broadcast” focuses on a trio of would-be anarchists that run a pirate radio station to free the airwaves from trashy radio programs. Of course, the FCC takes a dim view of unlicensed broadcasts, no matter what the motivation.

Independent film maker and comic fan, Kevin Smith, known for the movies Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy, brings two characters from Clerks, to the comic pages. Jay and his alter ego, Silent Bob are the main characters in “Walt Flanagan’s Dog,” a viciously funny story illustrated by Matt Wagner (Mage). Crude, vulgar, and oblivious to everything including their complete lack of potential, Jay and Silent Bob are definitely not role models as they pass time loitering, antagonizing service workers, and selling dope. It’s not much of a life, but the resulting story is hilarious.
