Chaos! Comics made its mark on the comics world with twin horror sensations Lady Death and Evil Ernie. Now in their fifth year of publication, they welcomed in the Halloween season for 1998 with a series of comics devoted to the more traditional monsters: vampires, werewolves, and the odd gigantic eyeball in a red-hot dragster.

Nightmare Theater is a four-issue anthology series that that reads like a group of horror fans trying to top each other around the campfire. Featuring the works of Berni Wrightston, David Quinn (Faust), and the notorious Hart Fisher, it’s a fun—if not especially innovative—mix of madness, monsters, and mayhem.
