Carnal Comics: The Inside Story

Love them, hide them, or burn them, adult comics are here to stay, and Carnal Comics had a place in their modern development. How big a part the company played is up for debate, but the company’s side of the story has now been told in this comic book.

It should be emphasized that, though this is an autobiographical take on the history of Carnal Comics, it is still not for children by any leap of the imagination. It gives readers a complete, graphic insider history of the rise and fall of Revolutionary Comics (founded in 1984) and its successors, Re-Visionary and Carnal Comics. It also contains stories about and photos and illustrations of the stars, lists of artists and issues, and details on such Carnal Comics characters as Demi the Demoness.

Regular Carnal Comics readers will be delighted by anecdotes about porn stars and the comic book artists, as well as the art and pictures never before available. Again, this book is not for anyone under 18—or even for anyone with delicate sensibilities—but it is a must-have for any Carnal Comics fan, or even adult comic-book fans in general.
