Vertigo Visions is a catch-all label for a number of special one-shot comics. The first such comic, “The Geek,” brings back the character of Brother Power from twenty five years ago. It is the tale of a doll brought into our world, then trapped by a truly evil man called Dr. Abuse. Soon this innocent becomes a virtual prisoner in Abuse’s carnival freak show. That alone would be bad enough, but in this freak show the deformities being displayed are the physical manifestations of what Abuse has done to their hearts. Can the Geek save not only himself but also the others from Abuse’s twisted plans?
