This independent collection of shorts and one-page comics revolves mostly around bad taste. Some veiled attempts at social commentary speckle the book, but stories like “Clam Land”—which revolves around a single day’s adventure for the bizarre and caustic Penzram and his nephew Herby—are mostly crude and objectionable. There are some laughs hidden behind the rough exterior of the stories, however, and a fair amount of adept indy-style artwork. Recommended only for the hardcore comix fan.
