Kull the Destroyer

™ and ©1973 Marvel Entertainment Group

Before Conan the Barbarian, there was Kull. Robert E. Howard’s second great barbarian warrior, Kull, wandered the continent of Atlantis in the age preceding Conan’s. Through strength of sword, and quickness of wit, Kull became the ruler of Valusia, the greatest kingdom of Atlantis.

In this, his first series, Kull slays a corrupt ruler to win his crown. Life for the new king is far from uneventful, though, as he battles both mortal and supernatural foes.

Previously known as “Kull the Conqueror,” this series changed names with issue #11, becoming “Kull the Destroyer.” Its flair for great storytelling, however, was unaltered.
