This British weekly anthology featured a variety of fantasy and science fiction serials. Star Lord contained stories such as Planet of the Damned, a tale of a group of people lost in another dimension after traveling through the Bermuda Triangle. Marooned on a world that is not their own, these people must band together to survive the many dangers and hopefully find a way back home.

Other examples of Star Lord stories included Ro-Busters, an action series dealing with a group of sentient robots willing to take on any dangerous task for the right price; and Timequake, an adventure series focusing on a small group of time-traveling heroes attempting to save the future of mankind by defending the past from a mysterious alien invasion.
