Guy Gardner

Guy Gardner first appeared in Green Lantern #59, way back in 1968. Even then it seemed unbelievable that this despicable, self-serving opportunist would ever be chosen by the Green Lantern Corps to become a Green Lantern. But of course, that’s exactly what happened.

Although he was a founding member of the new Justice League, Guy still has a habit of rubbing his compatriots the wrong way. Perhaps it’s all for the best that he now stars in a series of his own. Armed with Sinestro’s power ring, he’s one tough hombre, with all of Green Lantern’s power, but without the weakness to the color yellow that had traditionally plagued his emerald counterpart. So look out world, Guy’s back in town!
