Minisulk

    (Top Shelf, 2005)
™ and © 2005 Jeffrey Brown

A pocket–sized paperback book collection featuring pages of comic strips graphically depicting a particular event, the panels of this comic comes across as more cute or bizarre than actually funny, but most are autobiographical in nature. Consequently, some of the strips contained don’t even have a proper plot or punchline, but no matter. Brown’s drawing style is somewhat quirky if not downright amateurish, and that is actually part of its charm and one of the reasons that this book can be highly recommended.
