Andy’s favorite toy, a pull-string cowboy doll named Woody, has never worried about being replaced until now. It’s Andy’s birthday and the arrival of Buzz Lightyear, the latest, greatest action figure with retractable wings, push-button laser weaponry and wrist communicator, sends Woody over the edge! Woody’s plan to get rid of Buzz backfires and they both find themselves lost in the world outside of Andy’s room. If they don’t work together to find their way home, very bad things could happen to them. They could be separated from Andy forever or even worse—fall into the soda pop sticky clutches of neighborhood terror Sid Phillips and become the latest inductees into his menagerie of “altered” toys. Yikes!
