Imagine if Harry Potter had a younger brother: one who had to live forever in his shadow and was unwillingly forced to follow in his footsteps at Hogwarts. Here, Hogwarts isn’t seen as a school for freaks but as the ultimate prestigious university. Now you’ve got the premise of Psychic Academy.

There, Ai, the born–to–blend–in “hero,” gets saddled with an ugly stuffed–rabbit–looking sidekick—Aki appears to be under the impression psychics, like witches, have familiars.

Usually, it’s only magical girls who get stuck with these sorts of annoying animal mentors, but soon this malaprop–a–minute thing is clinging to his shoulder and acting like a hard-bitten movie boxing coach to tough–love Ai into living up to his potential.

Naturally, there are plenty of women who want him who dress in either disturbing fetish battle gear or clinging little outfits that lift and separate in ways that give the reader’s imagination a thorough work–out.
