Marginal Prophets

Brilliant! San Francisco’s Marginal Prophets, a rap/hip-hop band, created their own mini-comic to aid in their street-level PR efforts. Along with tour dates and press clippings are mini-cartoons demonstrating how the group (consisting of black cartoonist “K2”—Keith Knight) and white, Jewish ne’er do well “The Noble Def G” merged to become a pretty respectable musical group. Judging by this effort, Knight’s a better-than-average cartoonist as well. You can see more of his work in The K Chronicles.
