Led by the beautiful Axi, Battle Axis is the super-hero team charged with protecting the futuristic Neo-Cago city-state. In the early 21st Century, after World War III, the world is threatened by “Quasi-Sapiens,” cyborgs with enough weapons built into their armor to take down small countries. Despite the amateurish art and production values, parts of this book are reminiscent of a modern computer game. The dystopic future setting, gleaming cities, and the bone-crushing hero/monster fights are a gamer’s dream come true.
