This small-format 52-page anthology series edited by Everett Rand and Gioia Palmieri and published two or three times a year by Grass Roots Press in North Carolina features comix luminaries R. Crumb, Phoebe Gloeckner, Kim Deitch and Andre Cordrescu as regular contributors. Works include short comix, sketchbook art, letters, travelogues, photographs, and poetry. The usual mellow, offbeat comix-style humor pervades the series, while the “Adults Only” warning placed on the cover hints at occasional forays into the edginess and profanity the genre is often known for.
