On the machine planet Cybertron, a seemingly endless war of Good vs. Evil has been waged between the form–shifting Autobots and their power-hungry counterparts, the Decepticons. Finally, with the planet devastated by their battles, their energy supply at an all–time low, and the original leaders of both factions M.I.A., a long–sought peace treaty is about to be ratified. But even as the uneasy new allies prepare for the momentous occasion, an apparently renegade group of Transformers makes a deadly bid to seize ultimate control.
