Moonstone Noir: Mysterious Traveler

    (Moonstone, 2003)
™ and ©2002

Sort of a “Twilight Zone” wannabe, this series of single-issue stories from the people who publish The Phantom and Vampire the Masquerade, is creepy and “mysterious.” The lead character and narrator serves as judge, jury and executioner as he hears the story of wayward individuals on a speeding train car that can’t be escaped. If you are judge righteous, the train will head uptown, if things go the other way, then expect a trip downtown. A morality play for the modern age, the world of the Mysterious Traveler is populated by thugs, dames, hookers and black magic practitioners. Pick it up for a spooky yarn with a nostalgic feel.
