This anthology title rolls on into another season giving a variety of characters and creators their opportunity to attract the attention of the comic-buying community.

Showcase is used as a tryout book for new talent as well, for as the name implies, it’s a display of new creations and familiar characters in settings not normally experienced. The lineup is usually an eclectic mix, featuring everything from an out-and-out slugfest with established heroes like Steel and Guy Gardner, to villains such as Circe and Ares, and even peripheral supporting players like Bibbo from the Superman family.
