Prime is undoubtedly one of the strangest super-heroes that has ever been created. To all exterior appearances, he is a virtual Superman, a brawny powerhouse bristling with super-human strength. But the truth is, that literally inside him is a little boy named Kevin.

Prime is the result of a series of gruesome genetic experiments near the start of the 1980s. The idea was to implant fast-mutating genes into babies, with the hopes of turning the children into super-soldiers. Unfortunately, this usually resulted in death. Except for Kevin.

Now a junior high school student, Kevin has the ability to “grow” super-human bodies around him, including costumes made of living cells. These bodies are unstable, however, and when they expire, Kevin literally discards them like a second skin.
