In the 25th Century, they need no death penalty because they have the Cycops.

Cycops can lift 2000 pounds and punch a hole through two inches of steel whenever they enter the state known as Overdrive. However, if they’re in Overdrive more than 30 minutes, the stress will kill them.

Made up of orphans drafted at the age of five, the children begin by receiving cybernetic implants. The few that survive the procedure can look forward to twelve years of rigorous training.

They protect society, but do they deserve your sympathy, or your fear? Some suggest they are simply serving as the President’s personal storm troopers. But how will the President react if some of the Cycops value justice above all else?
