Superosity

The king of webcomics, Keenspot, has ventured into the comics publishing world with a monthly anthology of its most popular comic strip, Superosity. This is a silly comic book about Chris, a lovable idiot who wears a super–hero costume for no reason; his jerk brother Bobby; a wise talking board named Boardy; and animal supporting cast members.

Superosity may be one of the most off–the–wall online comics ever invented. Those who appreciate the sort of non–sequitur humor provided by Homer Simpson are sure to like Superosity. Creator Chris Crosby is the champion of the punch–line quote. “Alf is from Melmac” is one of the most famous, but the strip, like The Simpsons, is filled with great quotes.

The art is cringe–worthy at first, but Crosby’s art, as well as the humor, improves with age. The commentary included with every strip is a terrific bonus, even for those who have read the entire two and a half years’ worth online.
