Nick Fury is captured while investigating reports of strange goings-on at the MyS-TECH corporation. As he has learned, MyS-TECH was no normal company. Rather, it’s a collection of ages-old mystics who have been garnering power over the centuries through a combination of sorcery, technology, and big business. Now, MyS-TECH is involved in the biggest business of them all: recreating the Earth itself! If they succeed, they’ll have gained ultimate power, but will have destroyed our world—perhaps our entire universe—in the process.

Dark Angel, herself tied to MyS-TECH, raises an army of super-heroes to stop them. But in this all-out war for control, where reality itself is being destroyed, even the combined might of such giants as the Knights of Pendragon, X-Factor, the X-Men, Death’s Head, and others may not be enough. For in this ultimate battle, even the heroes can fall.
