Using the popular Japanese comic genre manga as a guide, writer Doug Bramer and artist Ryan Brown weave a story inspired by the Cold War climate of the mid-80s. An alien race watches in horror as the Earth develops nuclear weapons of mass destruction which they fear could threaten not only their world, but countless others as well. Two different philosophies arise about how to deal with Earth’s inability to divert their course to annihilation. Lord Damon calls for nothing short of an invasion of Earth and the creation of a dictatorship. Meanwhile Lord Auron hopes that their advanced civilization can teach the Earth a way of peace and nonviolence. But as he arrives on Earth with his son Rion, Auron learns that Earth’s inclination towards paranoia and violence was greatly under anticipated. Now the hope of preventing a galaxy wide war lies in the hands of Rion and a young mysterious Earth girl. Fans of Dragonball Z and Astro Boy will appreciate this homage to Japanese comics.
