The Age of Heroes: Wex
(Image, 1998)
™ and ©1998 James D. Hudnall. Art ©1998 Angel Fernandez
Over a year ago, the brutal Unmen stormed the Dalen monastery, a symbol of the culture of the land of Xera and a repository of magic. Although the monks fought valiantly, they were hopelessly outnumbered. A few select monks, Wex among them, were charged with preserving the holy relics of Xera by stealing away to an underground river that flowed through the monastery’s ancient passages. This effort failed and now Wex pursues the Unmen and the holy relics of his civilization.
Writer James Hundall brings his epic tale of the land of Xera and its defenders to Image with this title which concentrates on the Druid monk, Wex. Much of the exposition relating to this saga was told in The Age of Heroes, previously published by Hudnall’s own press, Halloween.
