And it also included an “accident” that was no accident for his son Nicholas, and a strange operation that turned Nicholas into something more than human…

Nicholas is now better known as Solitaire, an avenger of the weak and helpless. Like Valiant’s Bloodshot, Nicholas has a bloodstream filled with nanites—micro machines—that stitch his body together after nearly any injury. With this power—and a collection of high-powered weaponry—Nicholas is out to prove that he is definitely not his father’s son.
