Just Imagine Stan Lee With Joe Kubert Creating Batman

    (DC, 2001)
™ and ©2001 DC Comics

When Wayne Williams’ father is gunned down on the job as a police officer, Wayne just wants to keep himself and his mother out of further trouble. Unfortunately, the street boss known as Handz has other ideas, and Wayne finds himself serving a prison term.

His only friend in the joint is his pet bat, so after he does his time and becomes a professional wrestler, it’s only natural that he should be known as The Batman.

But will Wayne be able to enjoy his stardom, or will he choose to seek revenge against the crook who took away years of his life?

This issue contains Stan Lee’s new take on the name and concept of Batman, with interior art by the legendary Joe Kubert.
