Zero Girl: Full Circle

Roles are reversed in several ways in this sequel to the original Zero Girl mini-series. Nikki Foster is a popular but gawky teenage girl who happens to be able to control minds when she imagines geometric shapes. Her father Tim enlists the help of his old girlfriend, Amy Smootster (the protagonist from the original Zero Girl) for counseling. No one understands that Nikki’s powers are a metaphor for her denied sexuality and teenage angst, and she is developing quite a crush on Amy. How will Nikki deal with the revelation that Amy not only does not return her feelings, but still loves her father?

Drawn at different times as outlandishly cartoony and ultra-realistic, Sam Keith provides readers his most unusual work since The Maxx. Full Circle is a non-traditional tale that will be enjoyed most by open-minded thinkers and fans of movie director David Lynch.
