Alita is reunited with an old friend, a girl named Koyomi, who has left the Scrapyard to meet an enigmatic, charming radio announcer and musician named Kaos. Broadcasting from the desert on lonely evenings, Kaos beams messages of love and hope through his own transmitter; listeners are hooked as Kaos’ melodic voice lulls them to sleep. When Kaos meets Alita, he falls in love with her. Creator Yukito Kishiro continues to deftly juggle gory brutality with human warmth.
