Pink Dust

    (Kitchen Sink, 1998)
™ and ©1998 James O’Barr

This one-shot is an adult collection by James O’Barr, best known for his character The Crow.

Poetry in artistic motion: “Pink Dust on a Yellow Moon” (morphine dreams #39) is a poem passionately illustrated. A pixy stick, a beautiful couple on the beach, a combination of love’s highs and lows warp the reader out of existence.

In another story, Henry takes Madra out for a spin in “Slave Cylinder.” It’s not everyone with a talking Plymouth Roadrunner VII driving through South America with a crew of animated mice helping out, but Henry does okay right up until the Coyote Boys show up and begin beating the crap out of everyone’s favorite car.

Finally, “Wages of Sin” show some lovely drawings of O’Barr’s wife, Kerin.
