Ten thousand years ago, two starships began a battle high above Earth’s atmosphere. On one side were the Daemonites, a demonic race who sought to enslave the galaxy. Against them stood the Kherubim, a noble race who fought for peace. During the battle both ships were damaged and crashed to Earth. The Kherubim eventually mixed with humans, giving birth to a race of super-beings.

Recently, the Daemonites rose again to renew their threat to the world. To stop them, Jacob Marlowe gathered a Covert Action Team (C.A.T.) of Kherubim warriors and their crossbreed descendants. These became the WildC.A.T.s.

Like the X-Men and Batman, the WildC.A.T.s eventually made their way from comics into a Saturday morning animated cartoon. WildC.A.T.s Adventures adapts those animated adventures once more into comic form.
