It’s impossible not to applaud the issuance of this mammoth collection of reprints. For just $9.95, readers got to read the #1 issues of Gen13, StormWatch, Backlash, WildC.A.T.s, Deathblow, Union, Grifter, DV8, and Wetworks—as well as the rarities Urban Storm and Capt. Pyro, and the West Coast Pirates from The Art of Homage Studios. Admittedly, the reprints included here are in black and white only, but it’s still an amazingly affordable way to catch up on the stories that started off so much of the Image Universe.
