Superman Forever

    (DC, 1998)
™ and ©1988 DC Comics, Inc.

The changing of Superman’s power and costume was one of the major comics events of 1997. The storyline that transformed Superman into an energy being and split him in two comes to a conclusion in this special one-shot, which serves as the reintroduction of the classic-model Superman. No sooner has Superman returned than Lex Luthor’s baby daughter is kidnapped, and Superman and the Daily Planet are anxious to find her. This book had a large roster of writers and artists, with a terrific Alex Ross cover that came in two editions: a regular cover and a holographic “moving” cover.
