Death Metal Vs. Genetix
(Marvel UK, 1993-1994)
™ and ©1993 Marvel Comics UK, Ltd.
Death Metal is on a desperate mission. He must kill himself before he destroys the world. For some, this would be a paranoid delusion. But Death Metal, composed of a mystical, and apparently indestructible living metal, was designed to be the ultimate killing machine. His conscious mind is in a constant struggle to control his destructive programming.
Failing to find anyone capable of killing him, Death Metal decides to create his own destroyer. Using tissue samples from Alpha Flight’s Box, and Genetix’ Vesper, he hopes to breed a child with the ability to affect his extra-dimensional metal. Vesper, however, has seen into the depths of Death Metal’s mind. Although she understands his mental anguish, she cannot condone his current plan.
