Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace

Two Jedi Knights are sent to intervene in a Trade Federation blockade of the small planet Naboo, but they soon discover that a Sith Lord, master of the evil Dark Side of the Force, is behind the federation’s actions.

Forced to flee with Naboo’s queen, the Jedi find themselves seeking aid and repairs on the desert planet Tattooine. There, they discover a young boy named Anakin Skywalker, whose potential for controlling the Force is overwhelming. The two knights risk all by assuming responsibility for the boy, but they sense he is critical to their victory. Their mission seems simple enough: defeat the robot hordes that hold Naboo imprisoned, unite the planet’s two races, restore the queen’s throne, and defeat Darth Maul, the Sith Lord’s apprentice.

Phantom Menace is a prequel to the hit 1970s movie, Star Wars, which detailed the adventures of Luke Skywalker against Darth Vader and the evil empire.
