Ghost Spy

The title character of this book is Keico, a bounty hunter/covert operative who plies her bloody trade in the cyberpunk dystopia of Chi–Nova.  Her mentor, Shaw Eki, gives her a home, takes–care of her wounds and rents her out to the government for important missions.  After disrupting a terrorist bio–attack and recovering a deadly virus. Keico is rewarded with a “milk run”guarding the virus on its trip to a research lab.  As she leaves, she knows she has to travel with a pair of metal–headed brothers who betrayed her on their last mission; she doesn't know about the squads of tanks and motorcycles approaching her APC, or what awaits her at her destination. Steve Albertson's script makes it clear that there are few traditional “good guys” in this universe while hinting at the deeper levels within the characters. The art by Jacob Elijah is kinetic, with brutal, cinematic action scenes that never leave the reader in the dark about what just happened…
