On Leo Takizawa’s 17th birthday, his father said he would take Leo to visit his mother’s final resting place. But the pair did not go to the Takizawa family grave. Instead Leo’s father took him to an abandoned house where he learned the truth about who his parents were and the source of the powers awakening within him. It was revealed that Leo’s father was not in fact his true father at all. Indeed, he was a lycanthrope hunter who took pity on him after he had killed Leo’s mother. He had hoped to raise Leo ignorant of his heritage and power.

In the end, tragedy struck. Leo ended up killing the hunter in an attempt to defend himself. Now Leo is afraid, unsure of who is friend and who is foe. How long can he stay alive carrying the burden of his heritage?
