Batman: Mitefall
(DC, 1995)
™ and ©1995 DC Comics, Inc.
Bob Overdog was a down-on-his-luck loser whose drug-addled brain caused him to see Batman as a three-foot tall “Bat-Mite.” Last seen in Legends of the Dark Knight #38, Bob Overdog had since been cooling his heels in the Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane. There, he began writing his diary and firming up his resolve to stay off drugs.
Then, the villain Bane blew open the asylum and freed the inmates to begin his campaign of terror against Batman. Escaping with the rest of the inmates, Bob decided to launch a one-man war on drugs. Unfortunately, he immediately crossed horns with a gang of toughs who force-fed him LSD. For Bob Overdog, it was flashback time, as he lived out his own, tyke-sized version of the Knightfall saga that was happening all around him. Batman: Mitefall is goofy, hallucinogenic fun, brought to you by writer Alan Grant and artist Kevin O’Neill.
