Clark Savage Jr. was the son of a brilliant scientist who raised his son to be a master of mind and body. Now grown, “Doc” Savage holds advanced degrees in medicine, speaks fifty languages, and is master of all forms of combat. He is also joined by a squad of men who are experts in everything from chemistry to law.

Over the years, Doc Savage has made many enemies, worst of which was Dr. Wessel, a Nazi scientist. As a boy, Savage had found a flaw in a scientific presentation that Wessel was giving, embarrassing him terribly. As a result, Wessel became obsessed with destroying Savage.

As this mini-series begins, World War II has just ended. Wessel, however, had moved to Savage’s secret South American valley and was conducting experiments in time travel. When Savage pursued him, both were thrown out of their own eras and began a pursuit across time itself.
