Here’s another attempt to bring back the adventures of Herbie, American Comics Group’s super-hero parody featuring the lackadaisical antics of the rotund, lollipop-sucking nerd boy. Part new, part reprint, the Herbie tales have always been a welcome return, but admittedly are sometimes an acquired taste due to the series somewhat subtle sense of offbeat humor and strangely stilted art style. Difficult to seek out due to it being published by a minor publisher, it is definitely worth finding for fans of the character.
