This black-and-white anthology title from…well…Action Planet stars Mike Manley’s Monsterman, a hulking sort of fellow who routinely takes on super-size threats to mankind. Also, Phil Hester’s Nails, a robotic cat burglar and John Heebink’s Wrathbone and Bitchula, a pair of monstrous folks who investigate mysteries and fuss with each other. Also included are Uncle Sam and Fire Dog, a patriot pair of do-gooders and Peter Zale and Aaron McClellan’s Carl the Being, a creature formed by a mysterious, powerful rune. Good stuff from Manley’s self-publishing venture.
