Sporting a splendid painting by Joe Jusko, cover artist extraodinaire, this black and white magazine collects the three-issue adaptation—Darkman (Vol. 1)—of the 1990 movie starring Liam Neeson and Frances McDormand.

Scripted by Ralph Macchio and pencilled by Bob Hall, this book chronicles the descent of an innocent to the depths of murderous despair when mobsters destroy his life. Dr. Peyton Westlake developed a synthetic skin replacement that unfortunately broke down after a couple of hours in direct light. Consequently when Westlake uses it to repair his disfigured face he needs to remain in shadows. His nom de guerre as Darkman reflects the rise of the dark aspects of human nature in his own personality.
