This companion series is filled with source book like material on the characters and themes in Rice’s novels, interviews with the author herself and further interviews with the various creators involved in the adaptation. With a painted cover by John Bolton (Vertigo’s Gifts of the Night, Batman: Manbat) and an interview with series cover painter Chris Moeller (Batman: Shadow of the Bat), readers are a afforded a unique look at the development of the adaptation and the creation of the original popular series of novels by Rice.
