Alex gets bullied in high school, tries to avoid the girl claimed by the local school yard tough, and wishes he had the skills of his favorite martial arts and spy movie heroes at his disposal. He doesn’t realize his father and grandfather hold secrets, or that the mysterious blonde outside his window will play a big role in his future.

But when a secret code is spoken to him after a particularly rough couple of days at school, Alex finds himself transformed: in command of a nifty arsenal, a set of killer kung fu moves, and at the center of attention of some really bald, really bad, guys in black. And then the fun really begins.

Writer Peter David’s career includes runs on titles such as The Incredible Hulk and his creator-owned Soulsearchers and Company. He teams with artist Pop Mhan, who brings an anime look to the book.
