In the Tangent Universe, where nothing is the same as the DC Universe except the names, the Green Lantern is a mysterious woman whose magical green lantern can raise the dead so they can complete their unfinished business.

But who is she, really? Is she Lois Lane, an adventurous archaeologist who is given the means to get revenge for her own murder? Is she the evil sorceress Darkside's innocent twin sister, who is killed in her place and takes advantage of Darkside's power over the dead to confront her? Is she Bane, an aspiring necromancer whose initiation into the Dark Circle is to obtain the green lantern, if she can? These are just a few of the possible origins the Green Lantern has to tell, in this second installment of DC's second run of comics set in the Tangent Universe in 1998.
