All-Flash

In part because of the size of Golden Age comics, it was common for characters that are icons today to begin their careers in anthology comics. So it was that, while The Flash was introduced in Flash Comics #1, that comic book also introduced Hawkman and Johnny Thunder in stories starring them.

It took more than a year to establish that Harry Lampert’s character could carry his own title—but, since Flash Comics was still running as an anthology comic book, this different name was chosen for the solo series.
