This giveaway series starred everyone’s favorite spinach-eating sailor in a lighthearted overview of several vocations. Aimed at the high-school student, each of the 15 issues pointed out which jobs were available for graduates without training, with some vocational training, and with a college education. Popeye, as well as Olive Oyl, Sweet Pea, and many of his other friends, briefly take over several jobs in the career fields that were covered, which included hospitality and recreation, health, communications, construction, and homemaking.
